What is the significance of education in our society? I believe education is the most influential tool that brings revolution and success to a community. Education builds up a person’s career as well as character. It gives them the confidence to survive in the community and strengthens them to tackle life challenges. Education enhances the moral values of humans and prevents them from making decisions out of ignorance.
Education has played a crucial role in the twenty-first century. Advanced education has opened up opportunities for an individual’s career to attain a prosperous life with personality development. It aids them to take care of their responsibilities, allowing them to handle various tasks simultaneously; which can be a job requirement. It results in an advantage over those who don’t have enough education.
At this point, we can not overlook the blessings of education. Education is the reason our universe is the way it is today. Doctors have been close to finding cures for cancer, inventing advanced surgical treatments for chronic diseases, and discovering new vaccines and medicines for curing humans, by the grace of higher education. Our technology has now been enriched compared to the 19th century.
Likewise, advancements in the agriculture field, production of new seeds, adequate fertilizers, and the use of modern techniques with a suitable environment to grow better crops are the innovations of education and research of scientists. The entire purpose is to provide benefits to humans and improve society.
Education is the backbone of every prosperous and functioning society. If the importance of education is not acknowledged enough, then someday, it will become less relevant, resulting in the destruction of the community. Education serves to unite and strengthen a country by providing its citizens with knowledge about their rights. Meanwhile, it aids your country to move along with the world in terms of technology and development.
If a society does not value education, in consequence, it will discover itself at a massive disadvantage compared to other nations. As stated by a wise man called Malcolm X, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” And that is why I strongly agree with the importance of education.
